SUNSOFT, Clouded Leopard Entertainment e Red Art Studios hanno annunciato City Hunter, il revival del celebre action a scorrimento laterale uscito su PC Engine nel 1990. Il gioco debutterà in tutto il mondo il 26 febbraio 2026 su PlayStation 5, Xbox, Switch, e PC.
Oltre alla release digitale, City Hunter arriverà anche in formato fisico per PS5 e Switch il 26 marzo 2026. Saranno disponibili tre versioni:
- Standard Edition
- Collector’s Edition
- Deluxe Edition

Il gioco originale, pubblicato il 2 marzo 1990 solo in Giappone, è stato l’unico titolo ufficiale dedicato alla serie su PC Engine. Questo revival segna il ritorno globale del franchise, riportando in vita l’atmosfera dell’originale con un mix di nostalgia e modernità e sarà tradotto finalmente in più lingue tra cui anche l’italiano.
